Register your first robot

Registering creates the robot’s identity on peaq and records its wallet. It takes two confirmations in your wallet.

Before you start

• A browser wallet, such as MetaMask. Mobile wallets aren’t supported yet.
• About 0.6 PEAQ on the peaq network. The Entry plan costs about 0.49 PEAQ, plus a little for fees.

PEAQ on another network?

PEAQ on Ethereum, Base or an exchange doesn’t count. It has to be on the peaq network. You can move it with Stargate (Ethereum to peaq), or withdraw from an exchange directly to peaq.

Steps

1. Open app.mova.build and connect your wallet. This wallet becomes the robot’s owner.
2. Click Register a robot.
3. Fill in the robot: a name, its type, and its serial number.
4. Choose its wallet:
   • Create a new wallet. The app makes a new key in your browser and shows it once. Copy the private key and keep it safe. It goes on the robot later.
   • Use an address I have. Paste an address you already control.
5. Pick a plan and check the price.
6. Click Register on peaq and confirm twice: once to allow the bond payment, once to register.

When it’s done, you land on the robot’s page.

Things you can’t undo

Caution

• The type and serial number fix the robot’s ID forever. The same pair can never be registered again, by anyone. Use the real serial number for a real robot.
• The bond can’t be withdrawn. It is locked for the year.
• A new wallet’s private key is shown once. The app doesn’t store it and can’t recover it.
