Credit rating
Every robot registered on peaq has a Machine Credit Rating. It is computed by peaq from the robot’s recorded history. Mova shows it in the Credit panel.
The scale
Section titled “The scale”| Rating | Score |
|---|---|
| AAA | 95 and up |
| AA | 85 and up |
| A | 75 and up |
| BBB | 60 and up |
| BB | 45 and up |
| B | 30 and up |
| Not rated | New robots, or too little history |
What goes into it
Section titled “What goes into it”peaq publishes these inputs:
- The bond. A robot without an active bond scores zero.
- Recorded income and activity. Consistent income over many days counts for more than a few large payments.
- How the income is verified. Each record has a trust level: self-reported, verifiable on-chain, or signed by hardware. Higher levels count for more.
- Recency. Recent activity counts for more. A robot that goes quiet loses rating over time.
What Mova records
Section titled “What Mova records”When you record income, Mova writes each payment to peaq as an income event with:
- the amount in US cents,
- the time of the payment,
- the Robinhood Chain transaction as a reference.
A new robot shows a dash until peaq has enough history to rate it. Mova can’t tell you how many payments that takes; the formula is peaq’s.
Reading a rating yourself
Section titled “Reading a rating yourself”The rating is public. See GET /api/credit/:id, or peaq’s own API at https://mcr.peaq.xyz/mcr/did:peaq:<robot id>.
