Be careful with
Section titled “Be careful with”- The spending account contract is unaudited. It is small and tested, but no independent review has been done. Keep amounts small.
- Private keys are your responsibility. A new robot wallet’s key is shown once and never stored. If it’s lost, a plain wallet’s money is lost with it. With a spending account, the owner can withdraw and replace the key.
- Registration can’t be undone. A robot’s type and serial number can be registered once, and the bond can’t be withdrawn.
Known limits
Section titled “Known limits”- Browser-extension wallets only. Mobile wallets aren’t supported yet.
- Income history is read in your browser. It covers payments since the robot was registered and is cached per browser. A fresh browser re-reads it from the chain.
- Income is recorded as self-reported. peaq doesn’t verify payments made on Robinhood Chain, so they carry the least weight in the credit rating.
- Payments under one cent can’t be recorded on peaq.
- Notes on payments aren’t verified. They are labels supplied by the payer.
- New robots start with a plain wallet. The spending account is a second step from the robot’s page.
- The robot pays its own fees. Its key needs ETH on Robinhood Chain.
Not built yet
Section titled “Not built yet”- Paying robots per request over x402.
- An approved-payees list for spending.
- Hardware-verified identity and income.
- Fractional ownership of robots.
